Regional Forum on Emerging Technologies, Tunis-Tunisia, 23-24 April 2019​​​

The Regional Forum on Emerging Technologies 2019 is organized in collaboration between the ITU Arab Regional Office and the Tunisian Telecom Regulator, INTT www.intt.tn

The overall objective of this regional forum is to shed light on the opportunities, advantages and challenges associated with the development, implementation and use of key ICT emerging technologies: 5G, Internet of Things, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing.

The forum will grant an opportunity for ITU membership, regional partners and stakeholders to network, promote collaboration and knowledge sharing, and seek partnerships with each others.

Furthermore, the forum will discuss regional challenges and opportunities that should be addressed across the region to promote the deployment of such new technologies with the ultimate goal of contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. 

Participation of ITU International experts who will present the latest developments in these technologies will be an opportunity for knowledge sharing with local and regional professionals.
