MoU of IICF - ICPF - LSP Telematika

16 Januari 2014 - Siaran Pers

On the day of Thursday, January 16, 2014 held at the secretariat IICF (Indonesia - ITU Concern Forum) Jakarta, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Memory of Understanding / MoU) between the Forum campaigners Indonesia-ITU/IICF and Indonesian Crime Prevention Foundayion (ICPF) and Institutions Professional Certification Telematics (LSP,Telematics), each of which is represented by the Chairman of the Board IICF, Budihardjo Widodo, Chairman LCKI Jakarta, Erwin Ramali, and Director of the LSP Telematics, Victor Terinathe, witnessed by Chairman of the Board of Trustees IICF, Eddy Setiawan.

Sense of concern over the development of ICT (Information Communication Technology) current and future rapid but less offset by the readiness of skilled human resources (skilled worker) and increased crime ICT is increasingly widespread . Besides, at the beginning of 2016, Indonesia will enter the era of the ASEAN free trade area (ASEAN Free Trade Area) and in 2020 Indonesia entered the era of global free markets (globalization).

The second era of the free market encourages freedom transasksi goods and services, which are defined as services are certified professionals skilled manpower/expertise. In the aspect of certified skilled manpower in ICT, Indonesia is still far from ready , due to lack of socialization and incessant efforts of the Government urges employers to encourage their employees to implement ICT professional certification and low awareness of ICT Indonesian workers to improve their qualifications (including bargaining value).

The impact of this situation is that Indonesia will be jobs for foreign workers and greater employment opportunities rid of the Indonesian workforce, plus the Indonesian workers will have difficulty entering the labor markets in other countries.

With a large population yet a weak competence of its workforce will inevitably weaken the competitiveness of the Indonesian nation in the world arena. Besides, the rising crime ICT is still very poorly understood by the wider community, particularly in terms of identification, anticipation and prevention of crime ICT.

Against the bealakang then IICF, ICPF and Telematics LSP agreed to create a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and then follow up with training programs and certification to assist the Government and the community in terms of improving the competence of Indonesian workers and increase understanding of the wider community to actively prevent ICT crimes in times to come.
